Tiszabábolna is a lovely village at 150 km. east of Budapest.
It is located in the middle of nature, bordering the Kleine Hortobágy.
Birds, butterflies, insects, roe deer, foxes, frogs, toads, snakes ... you can encounter it all on a morning walk.
The village itself has two small shops for groceries.
A restaurant opens its doors during the holiday season.
Within walking distance there is a harbor where you can rent a boat to go up the river Tisza towards Lake Tisza.
There is also a beach, playground equipment and safe swimming.
It is wonderful cycling and walking in the area.
The Grote Hortobágy is easily accessible by car and there is plenty to do here. (including horse show, bird shelter, covered wagon ride, market) Many people love to enjoy one of the many thermal baths in the area.
There are several larger places nearby.
Eger, known for its wines, is very worthwhile.
Eating out in Hungary is not expensive and there are several good restaurants in the area.
In short, plenty to experience from the Inn.
