Local information :
Lucan boasts of a sweet village (with some very good pubs) and a breathtaking park that includes the winding path of the River Liffey.
The village is only 20/25 minutes walk from our house and as you pass the beautiful grounds of Lucan Golf Club (the public are welcome to play) - you will find yourself outside The Ball Alley - who serves the best pint of Guinness for miles.
Kenny's pub with its beautiful beer garden, equally boasts about its delicious food and fine wines. With public transport only two minutes away, the C4 bus will bring you straight into Trinity College, Temple Bar and of course the most popular Guinness Store House - or travel the opposite direction by bus to Maynooth, a university town that's only 15 minutes away, where you will find trendy restaurants and a beautiful college.
