Local information :

The Daintree has a huge range of activities from kayaking and snorkelling tours on the reef to birdwatching, crocodile spotting, horse-riding, jungle 'surfing', guided day and night walks, boardwalks, ice-cream companies and world-class information centres.
There is so much to see and do here, you really DO need 4-5 days to get the best experience.
Don't spend too much time in Cairns and Port Douglas unless you are really after a 'resort and restaurants' experience.
This is the oldest rainforest on earth uand the nature is amazing!!
