Local information :
Countless things are to discover here.
In the nearest is the Høsbjør Hotel, which is not only a very nice building bu also the starting point for many hicking trips in Sommer as in Winter.
A favorite place of mine is a peninsula in the Mjøsa, a marvellous plase to walk, swin, meditate or just relax
On the island Helgøya is a cuddly place to have lunch or cake and coffee called Skafferiet, with the best warm black current juice
Hamar has a very long beach area directly at the biggest lake in Norway.
There you could also swim, sail or surf.
A litte farer away the is also a golf course
In Elverum you can find the Wood Museum at the longest and most expanded river in Norway, walkin and looking at old nicely preserved norwegian timberhouses in harmony with the big and churning river.
For the winter there are also many possibilities for country cross, slalom or even ski-jumping and ice- skating.
You can ask us every time.
