Hostel Le Diablotin

Saint-Jean-de-Fos, Languedoc-Roussillon, France France

About our B&B

The hostel Le Diablotin (little devil) is located in the heart of St Jean de Fos, a potters village dating back to the mediaeval times.
The building itself, entirely restored using traditional building materials by local craftsmen, brings back to life the time when the ground floor was a café back in the XIX century, when the street was known as rue des Pénitents Blancs, after the chapel across the way (recognizable by the Saint James shell on its front).
The clock towers bell (50 m tall) calls out the hours with its lovely sound.
The ground floor is embellished by mural paintings dating from the late XIX century.
The tiling, eaves gutter and down pipes (in glazed terra cotta hand made by a local woman potter in accordance with traditional enamels) adorn the façade, kitchen and walls of our numerous bathrooms.
We welcome travelers, hikers, pilgrims for one or several nights for your comfort and tranquility, to a cordial place both easily accessible and comfortable.
