Located in Lugon-et-l'Ile-du-Carney between Bordeaux and Saint Emilion, Château de La Vieille Chapelle is a Bio-Dynamie vineyard around its 11th century Romanesque chapel.
It has a garden and terrace with direct views of the Dordogne river.
A free tasting of selected wines from the estate is offered every evening from 18:30.
All rooms are located in adjoining chapel areas and have direct access to the garden.
They feature tiled floors with heated floors, a wardrobe, a large bed and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower.
They are brightly decorated with an Asian touch, in pastel colors, with curtains and linen sheets.
One of the rooms is adapted for people with reduced mobility.
A continental breakfast including homemade jams and pastries is served every morning.
There is a lounge area with tea and coffee making facilities, wine glasses and wine tasting facilities, as well as books about the area.
