Directions

From Colombo, take the Colombo to Bandarawela Road. After Haputale, turn left at the Diyatalawa (Army Academy) sign (200 metres past the Adisham outlet) & drive to the town of Diytalawa. Turn left at the Ella Army Camp turnoff. The road ends at a T-junction. Turn right into Lake Drive also known as Welihelagama Road & follow the small lake. Go past the Fox Hill turnoff (which is on the right) and approx. 500m from there, is a sub post office & some small shops. DON'T take the Ellagama Temple Road or the left concrete road, but continue descending on the main Welihelagama Road. Ampersand is approx. 1 km from the T-junction and 2.5 km from Diyatalawa town.
