Aapo Aap Home Stay is a part of Indian Government sponsored & State Government backed initiative to assist tourists to stay outside the centre of cities and experience life in an Indian home.

“Aapo Aap” is a private residence where the owner & his family reside. Owner of Aapo Aap Building is a retired Indian Administrative Service Officer. His wife is a retired Principal of Government College. They both are settled here. Top floors are meant for family use while other floors have accommodation for the guests. Day-to-day affairs of Aapo Aap Home Stay are being looked after by their son - Shivi.

There are 3 guest rooms (5 bedroom types) on this property which are clean, spacious & sunny with openable windows and are equipped with satellite TV, tea/coffee making facility, lockable wardrobe with drawers, desk & hair dryer. All rooms have private entrance & balcony/terrace. Each room has its own clean private bathroom with wall mounted shower, shower curtain, hot water geyser, modern toilet with western seat & bidet.
Windows based desktop computer with Internet connectivity is available for guest’s use. Wi-fi is also available on additional payment.

We are a drive-in property with ample parking space. Separate mixed accommodation is available for the driver or support staff.

Taxis as well as English speaking guides can be arranged for sightseeing and tours. We can also arrange hilly terrain drivers for your cars.
Pets are welcome by arrangement (except exotic pets - birds, reptiles and mammals). Pet policy & charges apply.
We provide assistance in booking flight, bus and rail tickets (Including toy train journey on the Shimla-Kalka route)

Transfer to and from Shimla/ Kalka/ Chandigarh/ Ambala/ Delhi/ Manali/ Dharamshala/ Bir/ Palampur/Haridwar/ Rishikesh/ Amristsar etc. can be arranged. We also organize tours to Kinnaur valley (Sarahan, Chitkul, Kalpa, Sangla, Kaza, Tabo etc.)

Check In/Check Out :	Check in – 15:00 Hours Early check-in is subject to availability of room. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night. Check out – 12:00 Hours Late check-outs are available on request and subject to availability of the same room.
Cancellation :	•Reservation must be cancelled 15 days prior to the planned date of arrival for a full refund. •One night's stay will be levied for cancellations received between 14 days to 8 days prior to arrival. •No requests for refund would be entertained for cancellations received within 7 days prior to arrival.
Policies :	Failure to arrive at the property will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given. Early Departures: No refunds will be given for early departures or for shortening the duration of stay. Guests of guests are not entertained at the property due to security reasons. Any damage resulting out of guest's carelessness will have to be paid in full by the guest.

The Homestay is located in Sargheen – a village in the suburbs of Panthaghati on the outskirts of Shimla to the south. The place is well connected by public transport - Government operated shared taxi charges Rs.30/- per head for one way transfer from the Mall to Panthaghati. Public bus leaves from right outside our house for the Mall Road (The Lift) at 10 A.M and 11 A.M everyday. It charges Rs.15 per head for one way transfer. Alternatively, private taxi charges Rs. 400/- to Rs. 600/- for one way transfer from Shimla railway station/bus stand/Mall Road (The Lift).
